Aimer Services & Industrial Supply (“we”), which runs AIMER2U, respects your privacy. This notice explains, as the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 asks, what personal data we collect when you shop with us or join our member programme, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It goes with our Terms & Conditions.
1. What we collect
Only what you give us, and what comes from using the shop:
- When you order: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and any note you add.
- Your account: the above, your saved addresses, and a password, which we keep only in a scrambled form we cannot read.
- Your orders: what you bought, when, how it was paid, delivered and tracked, and any coupon used.
- As a member: your rank, PV, who referred you and whom you referred, your commission and wallet balances, and your withdrawal requests.
- When you apply for a rank: your full name, email, address, occupation and how you plan to bring in customers, and your bank name, account number and account holder’s name, to pay you commission.
- When you contact us: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
You do not have to give us your data, but without your name, phone number and address we cannot deliver an order, and without bank details we cannot pay you commission.
2. Why we use it
- To take, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them, including by WhatsApp to arrange payment.
- To run your account, your PV and the member programme: working out ranks and commission, and paying withdrawals to your bank.
- To send you news from us in your account. We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing from others.
- To keep the shop secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and keep the records the law requires, such as for tax and accounts.
3. Who sees it
- Our staff, as their work needs: packing and sending orders, answering you, approving members and paying commission.
- The courier delivering your order (such as J&T Express, Pos Laju, Ninja Van or DHL eCommerce) gets your name, phone number and address.
- SRN Digital, which builds and runs this website and its systems for us. They handle your data only on our instructions, to keep the shop working.
- The services that host the shop, its database and its pictures. Some of them may keep data on servers outside Malaysia; we use only providers that protect it to a standard at least as good as this notice.
- Your referrer and the members above you see, in their team list, your name, rank, the date you joined and your PV. They do not see your phone number, address, orders, bank details or balances.
- Others only when the law requires it, for example the police or a court, or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
4. Our staff and your account
To help you, an admin of our shop can sign in to your account, for example to see what you see, check an order or place one for you. While they are signed in, they cannot withdraw your commission, change your password, email or bank details, apply for a rank, or spend your wallet or PV. The session ends by itself after 30 minutes, and each time is recorded with the name of the person who did it.
5. What is kept in your browser
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and uses no analytics. To work, it keeps a few things in your own browser: your cart, your sign-in, a copy of your account so it opens quickly, and the referral code you arrived with. Signing out removes your sign-in and the copy of your account. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the map on our About page is from Google Maps, so Google sees your device’s internet address when those load.
6. Keeping it safe
Your data travels to us encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored scrambled, sign-ins expire, and our staff each have their own account, with access only to what their work needs. If a breach of your data is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your account for as long as you have it. Order and payment records are kept for at least seven years, because tax and company law require it, even after an account is closed. When you close your account, your sign-in, saved details, wallet, PV and membership go with it, and what we no longer need is deleted.
8. Your rights
- You can see and change your name, email and addresses in your account at any time.
- You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- You can ask us to stop using your data for a purpose, or to close your account and delete what we do not need to keep.
- If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (pdp.gov.my).
We answer requests within 21 days. We may ask you to prove who you are first, and may charge the small fee the law allows for a copy.
